Here's the web exclusive video from the Jimmy Fallon show, Tuesday May 19th 2009.
All videos have been pulled except for Hulu...may apologies in advance for the pre-roll ad.
OK...not much blogging here...
You can find me "blipping" some favorite tunes now "twitter style" over at blip.fm (these also post to my twitter account. You can follow me @timpoundstone.
Bon Iver has a new EP out entitled Blood Bank. If you have not listened to Bon Iver's To Emma, Forever Ago yet I highly recommend it. Fans of Fleet Foxes or older Iron and Wine should really enjoy it. For an introduction you can read more and listen to a brief NPR interview (it includes a short sample of my favorite song Blindsided)...HERE
A very interesting and different game called Auditorium is definitely worth a look (and listen) and a few minutes of your time. It is a hard to describe physics based puzzle game involving particles of light and a rich integrated audio experience. It is currently in beta so there are only 15 levels, but there is plenty of challege to be had in just those few levels.
I recently downloaded and tested the new Lunascape browser. Lunascape promises great flexibility and compatibility by running all three major browser engines (IE, Firefox (Gecko) Safari/Chrome(Webkit)). It is still in alpha so bugs are to be expected...
Crazy Brick Stacking Exhibition...all in a day's work!
More Fleet Foxes...this one may be my favorite song on the newest CD...White Winter Hymnal

I was very saddened by the news of his suicide this week. I can only hope that more people will take the time to read some of his wonderful prose in the wake of his death.

Well here are six sites that I've either recently discovered, have recently improved or continue to deliver as promised.
Deezer - French based site with a wealth of fully streamable CDs. Things are very hit and miss with many releases not available and some with only 1 to 4 songs available but a little patience pays off. High social factor as well.
Hype Machine - Long time MP3 blog aggregator has continued to improve interface and always has plenty of remixes and covers tough to track down elsewhere.
Songza - This site strips audio off youtube videos and allows you to save playlists in a unique but effective user interface.
Slacker - Despite the lackadaisical moniker, this site seems to be a real up and comer. Think customizable internet radio with a slick interface and mobility options. High profile mention in Paste magazine and tons of praise for its new hardware.
blip.fm - Twitter for music. 'Nuff said(?)
last.fm - I have complained about this site in the past and at times could not understand all the praise heaped upon it. But with recent additions of free full track streaming and a serious UI overhaul, last.fm is really starting to live up to the hype.
Amazing photos from Beijing of the Olympic opening Ceremonies.
Faces of Evil - This one takes a bit of an explanation as these images are composite photographs. From the main site..."Between November, 2007 and March, 2008, we took photographs of over 350 people in Hamburg, Munich, Vienna, Dresden, Frankfurt, Berlin, Amsterdam, Moscow, Belgrade, London, Barcelona, Paris and Milan. From them emerged the thirteen FACES OF EVIL, assembled from faces of people of the same ethnic origin as the according dictators. For example, the portrait of Hitler consists of 37 people. His nose belongs to an estate agent from Berlin, his upper lip to a locksmith in Dresden. His hair is put together from the hair of an artist in Weiden and a painter in Bamberg. The chin..."
